Summit’s highly effective training on Aerial Lift Safety is now available in the dynamic Peak Training™, interactive CD-ROM format. Aerial lifts are extremely beneficial to the job and increase productivity, but they can create a safety hazard if not used properly. Employees who work on or around lifts are exposed to additional hazards, such as contact with electrical wires, falls, and falling objects. This program addresses important procedures, such as checking the workspace prior to operation and the purpose of decals, warnings, and instructions. The program also addresses:
- Different types of aerial lifts, including scissor lifts, articulating boom platforms, and vehicle mounted bucket lifts
- Steps to take before operation
- Proper operating procedures
- Specific hazards
With four lessons and over five interactions, Peak Training™ Aerial Lift Safety teaches employees the importance of using best safety practices to reduce accidents and injuries at your site. The interactive format offered by computer-based training increases employee comprehension and retention. The Peak Training™ Administrator allows the trainer to easily maintain employee training records.
